AutoCAD means Computer-Aided Design that is , the name "CAD". It is one of the programs which is written by Autodesk, a company that mainly produces software and solutions for industries such as architecture, engineering, product design, manufacturing, construction and so on
AutoCAD enables users create and edit designs and digital images in 2D and 3D efficiently. AutoCAD makes it much easier to manipulate designs rather than editing images by hand.
AutoCAD enables users create geometric models on-screen and offers endless permutations for creating different types of objects and structures. Because of its flexibility, AutoCAD has become an industry leader since it can be adopted for use in almost any application.
AutoCAD was primarily created for 2D designs. Even today, many designers prefer AutoCAD to other programs because of its excellent 2D design capabilities. Nonetheless, Autodesk has continued to develop new features, and today AutoCAD supports 3D design as well.
There are a host of different commands in AutoCAD that help designers prepare more precise designs, including features like automatically centering lines and setting dimensions of drawings to fixed proportions.
For 3D design, AutoCAD allows multiple views, enabling designers to make more subtle changes and improvements. AutoCAD also saves design data that can used later. It supports direct rendering in the cloud, cross-sectional drawings, and even allows realistic lighting in renderings as well.
AutoCAD is used in various industries. Though it was originally created for use in the architectural and construction industries, it is today used for multiple verticals and applications.
1 . AutoCAD are use to make building designs , floor plan and blueprint which gives precise dimensions.
2 . AutoCAD are used to make interior designs , help to make 3D solid models
3 . Mechanical engineers use AutoCAD to make specific blueprint of their products
4 . Fashion designers also use AutoCAD to make detailed sketches and patterns.
My regards
Thank you very much for this wonderful education.
Welcome friend
Autocad is now taking over from the manual hand work.
Very true ,it is very convenient unlike the manual one which takes a lot time
Sure
