Hello steemians ! I hope you are doing well. I am glad to share with you the activities I performed today. I woke up early ,performed Fajr prayers and prepared for work. Upon my arrival at the bus pick up point , suddenly there was a heavy downpour. I had to rush for shelter to secure myself from getting wet.
After couple of minutes, the bus arrived and conveyed us to the work place. Because of the heavy downpour , the road was very slippery but the driver managed and we reached the workplace safely. When I got to the workplace, I went to the canteen to buy porridge and bread as my breakfast. I then went to the change room to pick my personal protective equipment and then observed the safety meeting at the workshop. The safety meeting was brief and precise. We discussed about the various lifting techniques. We got to realised that, the waist must never be used to support the load while lifting but rather the knee other wise and load of weight more than 50kg shouldn't be lifted .
After the safety meeting, I took my breakfast. Usually I don't eat much in the morning so I couldn't finish the porridge. I threw the left over in the designated waste bin. At 8:25 am , I had discussion with my colleagues. Normally we discuss about things we don't have clear understanding about. Our discussion covered Series and parallel Alternating Current circuit where we analysed Resistive , capacitive and inductive circuit. It was interesting making analyses of Alternative Current circuit and relating it to real life situation. I already have strong background in Electrical Engineering, so it wasn't a challenge to propagate this knowledge to my colleagues. We delve in more to draw phasor diagram and power triangle to analyse why some appliances consume more current , making the phasor angle bigger and consequently lead to low power factor which causes a lot of power loss and high utility cost.
This motor was opened to check the kind of connection either Star or Delta and records of its ratings were taking for analysis.
I went for lunch at 11:45 am and returned at 12:30 pm. I rest for 30 minutes and continued with the discussion with my colleagues. Some of my colleagues were having challenges with the calculation aspect especially how to draw the phasor diagram and proceed to find the power factor. I didn't hesitate to help them. I took my time and explain in details using a real life example. They were all happy for my commitment and the effort I used to help them.
I closed from work at 4:00 pm and got home at 4:45 pm. I was very tired so I had a nap and woke up later to offer my evening prayers and later read through my study materials. This brings to end of my activities. Thank you for your unconditional love and support. I am grateful steemians 🙏
My regards

Thank you for sharing friend. Nice pictures
Thank you for your visit friend
Nice pictures u really had a hectic day. Thanks for sharing
Thank you
Marvelous day it was with a lot of energy used up by you.
Greetings bro
Thank you
Your field is quite exciting bro. Making deductions on various circuits about their consumption rates sounds very interesting. Nice photos too.
Steem on.
Yes! It is very interesting. At least we can relate what we learn to real life situation especially how we can do away with things that contribute to high utility bills
