Good day steemians. Today I am gratified to share with you my dairy activities. It is my utmost wish that, you enjoy your visit

I woke up today early to revise on my module notes. I had exams to write today and because I was tired yesterday, I didn't go through my books so I planned to woke early to learn. After an hour studies, I offered my prayers and prepared for work. I left the house at 6:15 am and by 6:50 am I reached the work place. I quickly used my work tag to swap the tungsten to open the gate for me to enter the work place, I washed and sanitise my hands and wiped out the hands with a tissue.

I quickly went to my locker room and picked my personal protective items that's the safety helmet and googles. Right after moving out of the room, it started raining so I quickly walked to the safety room to secure shelter. Normally we receive red alert which means it is not safe to walk in the rain. Since the rain wasn't heavy, I didn't think of the red alert. The red alert mostly signifies lightening and thunder which is not safe to us. Today's meeting was very brief which took about 7-10 minutes to discuss the safety meeting. I took my breakfast after the meeting. At 8:00 am, we wrote the exams which lasted for only an hour. The time was limited but I was able to speed up and finished the exams.

Building Hydraulic Circuit

My colleagues and I went back to workshop to practice on Hydraulic Circuit building. We have already learnt this about 4 months a go but the practice which is called "On the job technical training" help us to intensify our skills. I was given a circuit to build which was a little bit complex but upon carefully analyzing the circuit, I was able to deduce a meaningful understanding out of it. I started building the circuit by connecting Hydraulic hoses to the pump and the pressure relief and then to the directional control valve not forgetting the return line. The circuit is all about extending and retracting a load. For instance if you want to offload an item from a vehicle to the ground using a crane then, the extension and retraction of cylinder rod comes in. This is very technical. I used 30 minutes to build it and simulated it to see if it works perfectly. Everything was working fine. After the practical session, we then came back to the training room to continue with discussions of electrical questions.

Having Discussion with a colleague

The topic of discussion his how to achieve good power factor in order to save the cost of paying more electricity bills. I explained thoroughly to my friends that, if we are able to calculate the reactive power that causes low power factor and install capacitor bank parallel to the load such as motors and transformers, unity power factor is attainable. They were enthused and amazed to hear this from me. I told them that, with unity power factor, we only pay for the power that is needed by the machine without thinking of additional cost. Though capacitor bank comes with high initial cost but the long term is cost effective.

The discussion came to an end at 12:00 pm. I went for lunch and quickly returned to mosque to observe Friday jumuah prayers. I did do any activities again until I closed from work at 4:00 pm.

I was feeling very dizzy after work so I decided to go to the the hospital. I got there and the nurse checked my vitals. After lab test and diagnosis by the doctor, I was told to go the injection room for some injections. I don't like taking injections but I had no option than to cope with it.
