My DiaryGame for today 25-05-2021 @abilove: The Hospital Wahala
Hello steemians, I hope you are all doing well?
Since this is my first post on this noble platform, I will like to share with you my diarygame for today but before I do that, I will like to brief you on a history about today.
May 25, 1963 was a very significant day to the African continent and its people since it has been marked in history as the Africa Day. The origin of this celebration goes back to May 25, 1963, when 32 leaders of African states met in Addis Ababa to create the Organization of African Unity (OAU), in which Kwame Nkrumah & Emperor Haile Selassie played prominent roles. As a result, it became a World Africa Day. A celebration day that refers to the achievements of Africa which endeavours us all to think critically and find the master key solutions for the continent's present and future challenges. This ends the history of today, and I hope you enjoyed it!?
Now, my day began when I woke up at 8:30am which is out of the normal for me. Immediately I woke up I had my quiet time, then I returned all calls I had missed overnight since I went to bed very early and couldn't get to answer them. After the calls, I quickly rushed out to go through my daily chores which includes; sweeping and mopping. Once done! I had time for my personal care routine which includes brushing my teeth, bathing, afterbath routine and fixing breakfast for myself since the whole family had already had their breakfast and my nephews had also gone to school.
After breakfast, I visited my Dad in his room to say hello and inform him about my scheduled checkup visit to the hospital since I haven't been feeling well lately.
On my way to the hospital
I set off to the station to board a car which took me about 10minutes to get to the hospital junction, I then walked for about 5 minutes before arriving at the hospital. Smiles filled my face when I got to the hospital because I knew I was going to be treated and freed from any abnormalities within my body.
My arrival at the hospital
I washed my hands and then proceeded to the OPD to get a folder for my checkup. But unfortunately for me, I received the shock of my life when I was sadly told my insurance card cannot be used at the moment unless after a month after renewal. But since I was experiencing malaria symptoms, I quickly rushed to the central market to locate a lab in which the test can be performed on me.
Upon my arrival at the market I run into a friend of mine on steem @rubilu123 and since I am a newbie, I kept flooding him with questions of which he answered effortlessly. After series of laughter and merry making, we bid ourselves goodbye and I continued with my journey.
The hospital's OPD
I arrived at the lab but I was a bit uncomfortable because, I experienced Trypanophobia. I finally gathered the courage to walk into the sampling room. With my eyes tightly closed, my blood sample was taken and I was directed by the lab technician to wait for 30minutes to receive my results.

After my sample was taken
But since I was starving, I immediately excused myself to grab a bite at a restaurant by name chicken republic.
My arrival at the restaurant
I was patiently waiting for my order
After about 30 minutes I was done with my meal, then I took a cab to the lab for my results.
From then, I proceeded home because I was so tired. Upon my arrival at home, I got to have some conversation with my mom. On an average I will say my day was good despite the ups and downs. We continue to give praises to God for His goodness.
