The diary game:29/12/2021: Took mom to the hospital fo r check up

Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing good by his grace, I took my mom to the hospital yesterday for another check-up and wish to share with you what happened during the day.

I had to leave from my area (Atadeka) to Madina so we could leave early. I woke up healthy but my spirit was down, very down. My mom had been ill for 2 years now, now we had been referred to korle bu teaching hospital.

We took A car from home to circle so we could get a car to the hospital easily.

We got to the hospital and went to the Radiotherapy center and booked to see the doctor.

After seeing the doctor, we were told again that they would have a meeting and discuss the best treatment for her. After hearing that for the third time, I was down a lot but then I couldn’t do much because that was their profession.
They then made us book an appointment for the next two weeks.

We left there and went to the Dental department as we also had an appointment there, we got there late so we had to wait in line.

It was then our turn to see the doctor and we made our way inside. We met him and he also had to do his tests again because the last time we were there, the doctor present analyzes the situation but didn’t update the records, meaning we lost whatever we dis last week so he had to do it all over again.

He also said they would also be making a meeting to find the best solution, however, the people to be present at the meeting weren’t around, therefore they would be back early January 2022. This got me thinking again.

We were told to go to the laboratory to make a couple of tests, clotting profiles and other tests.

I took her there and then went to make some payments

From there, we went back to the doctor for some prescriptions for the pain and swelling.

I then went to buy the drugs.

They said I had to make payments so I went to pay for them.

I went back and took the mom and went to get the other medications since I couldn’t get them at the previous pharmacy.

After that, I then took her to the station so we board a car back home.

We got home and I encouraged her to take the meds, he basically can’t swallow food so anytime she wants to eat, its like torture to her.

I rested and decided to go back to my area.
