The Diary Game: Early Morning Hunting And A Trip To Tono
Good day fellow steemians. I’m here once again to share with you how my day was. Today as i wake up in the morning i brushed my teeth, took my bath and went through my daily workouts. After all these i then took and breakfast.
It was right after my breakfast when a friend of mine called me to come and see something outside our hostel. I went and it was two cattle fighting and one was seriously injured so i went to call one of the natives of the town to come and check whether the cattle belongs to them. As i called them and we were going i saw an aligator running into the bush and with the help of the people i killed it.
Immediately after i killed it, i started making arrangements for its preparation, as it is not forbidden to eat it in my religion. I prepared it well and went to the near by store to get some spices so that it will taste great. I finished cooking it and i chop it with some of my friends but others too refused to chop it because that was the first time they saw it.
Later part in the day, we suggested to go and tour at the Tono dam in the Upper East region. We were to take off at 5:00 in the evening so i bathed and dressed up. We were now waiting for our driver to come and pick us but he delayed too due to some misfortunes his machine developed a couple of weeks ago but fortunately on our part it didn’t stop again when we started our journey.
We got there in no time and i was astonished seeing how big the water is. I was really shocked and wondered how a man made dam could be this big. We explore the place and they told us they use the dam to embark on irrigational purposes. The near by villages use this particular dam to farm during the dry season since farming is their only occupation.
We spent some time there and it was getting late so we started going back home again. It was a nice tour though and i went there with my friends @farhmade, @njaywan and @silencewan.
Will love to go back there once again and feel the nature once more.
