Hello Steemians

Today I am here again to greet my dearest steemians friends, wherever you are, I pray that you all are always happy and continue to smile through this life. Warm greetings from me @zhafirah

I'm going to share about my experience wearing traditional traditional clothes from my region Aceh, Indonesia. As we know, every country has its own customs and culture. One part of the customs and culture that originated in my country Indonesia is traditional special clothing. Since Indonesia is an archipelago that has many tribes and nations, there are various traditional clothes according to the region and ethnic group.

Like my region Aceh, we have a variety of traditional clothing because the province of Aceh is also divided into several regions, each of which has cultural differences. Aceh traditional clothing is usually used in traditional events such as wedding parties, traditional Aceh dances, traditional fashion parades and other ceremonial events. This outfit consists of tops and pants which are then combined with songket cloth wrapped around the waist.

Acehnese traditional clothing is usually a combination of red, yellow, green and black colours, in this outfit there is beauty in gold thread embroidery and embroidery in certain parts that display the impression of elegance and luxury but polite according to Islamic law adopted by the people of Aceh. Plus the additional accessories used in Acehnese traditional clothing when worn, the accessories are necklaces and bracelets, belts and crowns all show the wealth of customs from the Aceh region which is the identity of the Acehnese people. In addition, Acehnese traditional clothing contains a philosophy as a reminder of the importance of purity, strength and wisdom in living life.

Now it so happened that on the celebration of the independence day of my country Indonesia on 17 August I had the opportunity to wear Acehnese traditional clothes, because I participated in the traditional and cultural parade held at my school, that day I also acted as a judge.

I wore a red Acehnese traditional outfit with golden embroidery, then added a golden yellow songket cloth, very complementary and besides that I also used other additional accessories, so that my appearance looked different. My two other friends and I were both wearing Ceh traditional clothes that day, but in different colours. They wore green and black Acehnese traditional clothes.

I felt very proud and confident when I performed at the traditional clothing parade to commemorate the birthday of my country Indonesia. For me, these clothes are not only luxurious and elegant but also make us look more graceful. The clothes are also closed and polite so that it adds confidence.

As one of the Acehnese women, I honestly really like and even love Acehnese traditional clothes which are part of the culture of the Acehnese people. That day was a special day for me and my friends, because we could appear in different clothes than usual and I was proud to wear Acehnese traditional clothes and I was proud to be part of the Acehnese community.

Thank you for steemians who are willing to stop by my publication today. Have a womderful week!!

Warm Greetings,

@Zhafirah
