When I need to understand my thoughts, I go for a walk in nature. It's best to take this walk with my family. In addition, it is also an opportunity to take some photos. After such walks, I sit down at the computer full of inspiration for work.
Most digital photos I make are unplanned, but it is possible that they are stored somewhere in my mind :)

It's a beautiful image like the ones we are used to. The colours, the figures, the lights and shadows, merge beautifully. I live near the sea and I have always felt relaxed in its company although I have to say I have a lot of respect for it....
I feel I can't say what you had in mind when you made this work of art, but I can share what I feel when I look at it.
This image brings to my mind a person (represented on the boat), who throughout his life has set many goals (boat trips that he has successfully completed) and at the same time other even more ambitious goals have arisen. However, there are times when, at the end of the journey, (when he arrives on the island) he feels that he has not quite achieved what he had in mind. The days seem uncertain and the journeys become more and more demanding with much still to be explored.

Seeing this digital Art there is one word came immediately to my mind "Quest". I actually needed to look in the meaning of this word to check up what exactly it means. In German language it means "search" and that possibly reflects the theme of your work. There is a sailing ship that is on the way of discovery. We all know that in the past to travel long distances people need to take ships.
The same as our human nature we always search for better life and the island seems to be offering that, obviously sunny and warm, as we can see palm trees I am pretty sure that there are a lot of vegetables and animals.
May this artwork to reflect your mood, maybe you are wishing to travel somewhere and that made you to create this beautiful work.

I don't really know what you want us to comment on, so I'll just give you my thoughts about how realistic the image is to me:
I think the light is very good in it: very realistic. If the geometry of the shapes wasn't so symmetric, it would almost look like a picture from a real world. The clouds look too uniform to me and the water is a bit glassy, also the island's trees reflection on it. If it was a bit more 'dirty' and with more undulations if feel you would have it.
This time it was more of a fairy tale picture and yes I could have made the water blue with waves, but chose that everything should be reflected in the water 😊
