It's a very sweet little painting; as are the small fishing-boats. As I have seen some of your photos from the area around where you live, it seems not so different from our corner of the USA.

The places indeed look similar. Spring and summer time is the best for being on coast, many people, boats sometimes if we are lucky nice food :)
