RE: Talk Channel: "Comment or ask a question"/ Comente o pregunte (week 269) in the WOX

It's okay to use royalty-free images to illustrate a post. In my opinion, it is not necessary. It only becomes interesting when you use your own photos/images; they allow you to create a link to the author.

Incidentally, I find all the canvas graphics that represent the ‘business card’ of many posts extremely annoying - with the result that I avoid these posts...

Emojis have no right to exist in my universe. Colourful, kitschy bobbles that disrupt the flow of reading...

We had and still have big problems with the tags. Content-related, concise keywords, that would be my wish and will... Unfortunately, contest abbreviations and clubs continue to outstrip them.

Am one meter away from you...... It good you say it as I was already searching the one I will drop for you .. oh😱 my bad..... It's drops.

Talking about images, sometimes I use mine or I create it. What do you think about people using AI to create images?

What is wrong with creating an image? Any idea how long that can take? I joined a contestst to try out AI with a prompt and unless you are satisfied with the first try I can tell you there are times I try it for at least 3 days for hours to get a picture that makes sense, isn't discriminating or brainwashing.

It's hard to say - it's a matter of taste. Personally, I don't like this type of image. I don't like comics or anime either. There are a lot of similarities that don't appeal to me. But I am prepared to recognise good AI creations as art. There are some good examples of this on Steem. It's difficult and time-consuming and really creative work - like painting your own picture ;-))

With most of this I agree. I don't find images necessary and most are very distracting and spoil the text. Same for this post where I have to scroll through a lot of commercials. By now canva is getting annoying as well and I wish we could do without the time consuming search and adding of a picture (or 5 like some hosts ask for).

The problem with the tags will never be solved unless communities come with a first tag and the poster can only make a choice out of 8 or 10
I posted with EverSteem twice by now. Negative is that you post in that community and the choice of hashtags is only 12 but it is a good start.

@the-gorilla is working on the first-tag-problem - may be there will be a better solution. I think he is not the only one looking for an alternative...

Greetings friend @weisser-rabe

Thank you for sharing your opinion on the use of images, I think that own images add value to the content, which complemented with the text, would be a 100% original and own work, something like the author of the lyrics and music of a song.

I used to think that emojis are unnecessary, well, in a way they are, but I think it can serve to show a sense of humor, I remember that a few months ago, some users thought they felt scolded by the teacher who corrected their homework in the SLC, perhaps if the teacher had used an emoji like 😉, the participant would have known that the message was friendly.

Yes, tags are still a weakness among users, many continue to use strange nomenclatures like #poemx4562 #photong-55x2 that do not represent the content at all, and therefore, they fail to be seen by search engines.

Thank you for sharing your opinion on these points.

Not all own images add value. I see a lot of photos of a bad quali,ty but it might be good instead of the "made by Canva" entries, which all look the same.

Many strange hashtags are also used because hosts push people into it and it's mainly to promote the host of the contest

Not all own images add value. I see a lot of photos of a bad quality.

It's true, friend, I forgot to mention that condition, there are users who share blurry photos, or with a bad angle. As for the tags, the effort has been made, but there is still no suitable culture of the use of tags by the users.
