Whispers of Wings || Macro Adventures with Dragonflies || My collection of dragonfly photos.
Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago, I started to capture macro photos, which was the same time around when the early summer rain started due to a cyclone formation. luckily for me, there were lots of bugs and dragonflies chilling around, so I took lots of photos. the photos I am posting were captured over two weeks of time, I had to try to approach lots of dragonflies for this, and most of the time they just fly off at the sight of me, and even if they were not spooked by me, since I don't have the proper gear for taking macro photos such as macro lens, flash, diffuser, etc. taking a decently focused and exposed photo is really hard. but I think I got some decent photos.

The photos were really sharp, I thought I took photos of the same kind of dragonflies every time, but when I checked the photos after copying them from an SD card to my laptop, I realized that they don't look similar at all, each and every dragonfly was distinct, it's really astonishing what technology can uncover about nature. I was truly surprised.

Hope you liked the post, thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
That are beautiful macro shots, did you have to come so close or have you used zoom for it?
Thanks, I have to get super close to get these shots, most of the time, they just fly off at the sight of me, so i have to get close to them really slow and careful so that they won't get spooked, but even then, they'll fee the place, but one out of ten times, they just don't care about me, when i find a dragonfly or insect like that, I'll try to take as amny shots as possible. But even then, i can mess up the focus since these creatures are so small. But some shots end up good. These are the photos that are good ones from hundreds of failed attempts.
these photographs are amazing. I really appreciate these blow-ups of her face and eyes
Thanks, really appreciate your kind words!
