I don't get why there's savings in wallet, what is the purpose of it?. Also i just started using steemit again last week, when i used it 2 years before, the rewards were 50% sbd and 50% steem power, but now there's no sbd, rewards are only 50% steem and 50% steem power. If reward didn't yield sbd, then what is the use of sbd?

I'm glad you're back on the platform, in the wallet there has always been the Savings option, this is to ensure your liquid steem that you want to keep in the long term, in order to protect it in case your account is hacked, since that this becomes effective after 3 days, which you will have a chance to regain control of your account.
On the other hand, currently SBD is not being distributed due to the debt ratio, which exceeds 10%, let's hope that the value of Steem recovers in the market to once again have SBD as a reward.
