Pencil drawing, New Competition (No.11) Zebra
Hello everyone here in this community, greetings from this end and I hope we are all doing great. I'm really glad to be part of this contest and appreciate the community "WORLD OF XPILAR" for bringing up such because aside from posting and writing articles, I derive joy in drawing and sketching out things especially cartoons and animals.
Today I drew a Zebra so please scroll down through this post as I showcase how I was able to draw and write about Zebra
Step 1.
I start the drawing by first sketching out the head, that has always been my pattern of drawing because it make drawing the other part easier and faster to draw
Step 2.
I proceeded in drawing the forelimbs and part of the back and stomach area
Step 3.
At this point I finished the skectch of the whole body alignment
Step 4.
At this point I started shading out the black stripes from the head
Step 5.
And finally, I finished shading all the black stripes.
Zebras are African equines with distinctive black-and-white striped coats. That's because if you look at most zebras, the stripes end on their belly and toward the inside of the legs, and the rest is all white their stripes for camouflage, long and powerful legs for running, and strong teeth adapted to a grassy diet are among the most important adaptations of zebras. They have excellent hearing and eyesight and are capable of running at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. Zebras bodies are well adapted to their surroundings.
Once again I want to specially thank the community for bringing up this contest because I derive pleasure in drawing and talking about animal, and let me use this opportunity to invite my fellow Steemian friends @solexybaba @samuelebuka and @joymm to join the contest
