Lulworth cove to durdle door
We went on this walk between lulworth cove and durdle door., which is part of the Jurassic coast. Despite looking though I didn’t find any fossils. Durdle Door is one of the Jurassic Coast’s most iconic landscapes. It is a natural arch, that formed from a layer of hard limestone around 10,000 years ago.
You can start at durdle door if you want to avoid the walk but it’s a nice workout to start from lulworth cove. If you want to avoid paying for parking you can go a few minutes down the road and just add an extra 10 minutes to the walk. The first part is pretty challenging as it’s up a very steep path but once you at the top it levels out on you can take in all the beautiful sea views.
Once you get to the top of Derdall door you can take two parts down to the beach there are a lot of stairs though and it’s pretty steep!
