I especially love the views you got over Corfe village, I have some separate photos to share on the village for a kind of part 4. I thought I would focus part III on something I was interested to find out more about and that is what did Corfe Castle look like back it's glory days?

I couldn't find any interior reconstructions of Corfe Castle but people have done ones for castles in general. I don't think they were quite as luxurious as we might believe. They had to rely on natural daylight, which, lets be honest In the UK is pretty limited hours over the winter. The Kings themselves lived in the towers at the top which, were considered to be the biggest and safest of the rooms. If you are interested I found a couple of good videos here:

the ability of virtual reconstruction is just very amazing , also at one link it says that it was held by the same family from 1650s to 1982 as private property and that is also amazing. nice story & nice photos
