RE: Travelling South Africa: A trip to Kagga Kamma
Welcome back - are you another ex-Hiver seeking a more positive experience?
Dare I ask where in Essex you’re from? A company I worked for had an office in that neck of the woods.
Thank you :) Yes I was once on Hive, though only for a short while. I have heard lots about Hive and so figured I'd rather return to Steemit.
Ok, that's cool. Are you also from Essex? I'm from a town called Witham, it's about 20 minutes drive away from Colchester and Chelmsford (different in direction but roughly works out the same).
Thanks for stopping by! Great to "meet you" :)
Just seen that your profile says Eastbourne :)
Yep, I'm Eastbourne 🙂
Funnily enough, you don't need to tell me about Witham... it's a town that I know surprisingly well since that's where our company's other office was (it moved there from Chelmsford)... so I know the train from Liverpool Street or Stratford (depending upon where I started from) well... You might even be able to guess from this who I worked for - I think they became Witham's biggest employer when they moved there!
I've never been, not that I remember anyway, looks lovely though.
Oh wow, that's interesting! What a very small world, and there was me thinking "who on earth would have heard of Witham" haha! However, I'm not sure who the company is, but perhaps I may of heard of them :)
It's the sunshine coast 🙂 I like it here 🙂
I guess there's absolutely no reason to go to Witham unless you live there... or work there 😅

This was the building...
Big news for Essex back in the day! It must've been taken over by Aegon now.
How lovely, much better than Witham for sure!! And yes, exactly, couldn't agree more lol. There are worse places but it's not exactly somewhere to rush to 😅 I'm definitely a coast/mountain/country person lol.
Ok, yes I know where that is! Not sure who it's run by now - I'm a bit of hermit when I'm here, haha!
So nice to "meet you" :)
