Ha ha. It's one of those happy subjects.
I remember saying to somebody about 10 years ago that if I died then, I wouldn't mind because life doesn't get any better than this. The greatest fear is the affect it will have on others, especially my family.
It's a delicate subject but one we're all very familiar with. Some people get comfort in talking about it, others don't. the-mrs-gorilla works in Palliative care and I've possibly picked up a few bits along the way.
Yeah, that's what makes death dreadful and the fact that we don't know what's next after death makes it frightening too. Either than that, there wouldn't be any good reason to be bothered by it... because no matter what you do, you'll "taste" it too🙂
