1-20th National Congress of the Communist Party
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party is being held these days. Chinese President Xi Jinping (President of the People's Republic of China) declared that the Taiwan issue must be resolved and that it is up to the Chinese people to decide. In his speech, he expressed his intention for a peaceful reunification between Taiwan and China, but added that he would not renounce the use of force if necessary and that the complete reunification of China would definitely be achieved.
2-Alaska: crab hunting cancelled
In Alaska (US federal state). for the first time in the state's history, the crab hunting season is cancelled. This after noticing a drastic decline in the numbers of these crustaceans. It seems that one of the causes is the warming of the waters of the Bering Sea. Alaska is one of the states most affected by climate change
3-Kenya: 4 million go hungry
According to an estimate in the African country, there are 4 million people suffering from hunger. The number is set to increase. The major cause of this drastic event is drought. The drought of 2022 seems to have been one of the worst in the last 40 years. Due to the dryness of the soil, many livestock could not survive.
Personal considerations
1-The Chinese president's words are resolute words, China seems determined to reunify with Taiwan. I do not know where this intention may lead, but I do not expect anything good.
2-This is another desperate signal and shows that the world is not in good shape.
3-This year the drought has been felt in several countries around the world and in nations like Kenya it has wreaked havoc. I hope states around the world can lend a hand to Kenya.

1- XX Congresso nazionale del Partito Comunista
In questi giorni si tiene il XX Congresso nazionale del Partito Comunista. Il presidente cinese Xi Jinping (Presidente della Repubblica Popolare Cinese) ha dichiarato che bisogna risolvere la questione di Taiwan e che spetta al popolo cinese decidere. Nel discorso ha manifestato l’intenzione di una riunificazione pacifica tra Taiwan e la Cina, aggiungendo però che non rinuncerà all’uso della forza se necessario e che la riunificazione completa della Cina sarà sicuramente realizzata".
2-L'Alaska: annullata la caccia al granchio
In Alaska (Stato federato degli Stati Uniti d'America). per la prima volta nella storia di questo Stato, viene annullata la stagione della caccia al granchio. Questo dopo aver notato un drastico calo del numero di questi crostacei. Sembra che tra le cause ci sia il riscaldamento delle acque del Mare di Bering. L’Alaska è uno degli Stati più colpiti dal cambiamento climatico
3-Kenya: 4 milioni soffrono la fame
Secondo una stima condotta nel Paese africano, ci sarebbero 4 milioni di persone che stanno soffrendo la fame. Il numero è destinato ad aumentare. La causa maggiore di questo drastico evento è stata la siccità. La siccità del 2022 sembra essere stata una delle peggiori degli ultimi 40 anni. A causa dell’aridità del terreno molto bestiame non è riuscito a sopravvivere.
Considerazioni personali
1-Le parole del presidente Cinese sono parole risolute, la Cina sembra determinata alla riunificazione con Taiwan. Non so dove possa portare questa intenzione, ma non mi aspetto nulla di buono.
2-Questo è un altro segnale disperato e mostra che il mondo non è in buone condizioni.
3-Quest’anno la siccità si è fatta sentire in diversi Paesi del mondo ed in nazioni come il Kenya ha combinato un disastro. Spero che gli Stati di tutto il mondo possano dare una mano al Kenya.
