The Renaissance of Cryptocurrencies and welcome to CryptoArt gallery, hosted by @stef1
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
You probably noticed that these days I am regular posting and may wonder why? There is no big secret behind except the fact that I am on Holiday and while on and off hiding indoor from the heat (by the way it is going to be +34 today with no clouds) I am trying to catch up on the other stuff like keeping an eye on Cryptocurrencies, sharing our thoughts about what is happening around and what do we think in our posts on Steem blockchain and evenings to do some painting.
The same time I was thinking about the good time on Steem blockchain when previously Art was really good supported by many projects and because Steem is our cryptocurrency, there were many projects like @creativecrypto and @sndbox who promoted Art to create the combination of Crypto and Art where I often took places too.
Looking through my CryptoArt I thought to do a post about Cryptocurrencies as they are having another Peak and accompany them with my CyptoArt collection.
I will start with one of my first work dedicated to Cryptocurrency and of course it was Bitcoin. That time there were a lot of chats about what is Bitcoin and even my mother approached me with such question, thinking about investing her saving into it. Therefore I have created this work and combined my favourite topic -Sails with the strongest and oldest Crypto -Bitcoin and called it:
"Melting Bitcoin" was the work that I was inspired by Salvador Dali, he was a prominent Spanish surrealist born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain. I love his works as they are really unique, to create them one has to have great fantasy and great skills. My favorite one is “The melting watch”, I saw it when I was a child and that time I could not understand why the watch is so soft and bent.
While talking about Dali I wanted to present you my other work that was also inspired by Dali and that I created for @sndbox contest about the Cryptocurrency NEO
Looking at the logo of NEO I immediately thought about Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument and of course Dali and his work from 1933 Archeological Reminiscence of Millet's Angelus.
I love it because it is a bit different from his other works, it contains in my opinion the human figures as an ancient monuments, in his original work you also see little figures of human at the bottom of those monuments, that makes them gigantic. When I saw then first time as a child I always was thinking how those monuments might look when you are at feet of them.
The next painting was inspired by another well known Artist-Pablo Picasso
What I love the most in Picasso's painting is the theme cats, therefore I wanted to use it for my Cryptoart. It was not difficult to find the crypto that would be suitable for his style it is Ethereum.
Two great people Dali and Picasso have two different styles, if Dali has smooth lines, no sharp corners, soft color that flowing one into another. Picasso has sharp angles and corners, he is like a mathematic you can recognize many geometric figures, that not following the rule of biology or nature but mathematic. It is like Water and Fire, people can not ignore them they either love them or hate them and this is the feature of genies.
Another inspiration to create CryptoArt for Ethereum was the the topic of Artificial Intellegence, love both AI and Ethereum, especially now when it goes up.
While talking about my favourite Artists I can't miss Vincent Willem van Gogh, who was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. I love his works because I love impressionism, the colors of van Gogh are impressive and my favorite one is a “Starry Night”, that inspired me to create my "Ripple Night"
So, what is Ripple, exactly? Ripple is both a payment network (RippleNet) and a cryptocurrency (Ripple XRP) created in 2012. RippleNet connects banks and other big institutions and allows them to transfer money and other assets through the network. All transactions are recorded on the decentralized XRP Ledger.
Somehow looking back I saw that my two CryptoArts for DASH I associated with women, is it coincidence? Or is it because people say "DASH, digital cash" and thinking about cash I always think about shopping and spending money like every women, that is why my hubby is not a fan of my shopping tours.
Dash (formerly known as Darkcoin and XCoin) is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and it was launched in January 2014 by creator and lead developer Evan Duffield. On top of Bitcoin's feature set, it currently offers instant transactions private transactions and operates a self-governing and self-funding model that enables the Dash network to pay individuals and businesses to perform work that adds value to the network. Dash's decentralised governance and budgeting system makes it a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO). (Wikipedia)
The latest CryptoArt that I have done when heard about Tron buying Steemit Inc.
That is all for now, thank you for visiting my Gallery and would be great if you could leave couple of lines of your impressions like in real Gallery, who knows maybe I will organise one and auction some of my works :)

Dear Stef1,
thanks for the guided tour through your Art gallery. I really like your crypto-related artworks, it's very special and unique. Could there be a better inspiration than the paintings of Dali, Picasso and van Gogh?
I hope the capsizing sailboat is not an omen for the future of Steem.
Enjoy your holiday! Warm greetings from currently not so hot Vienna,
Anna
Dear Anna,
Thank you for your kind feedback. It was also something special for me when I restarted to do Art after so many years I wanted to learn other Mediums. That is why I had a lot of fun and energy with that :)
As to our holiday we still have 5 days left, and I am definitely going to enjoy it :)
Stef1
Dear Stef,
as I have already hinted at elsewhere, I really like your idea of using cryptos as an impulse for artwork and implementing it so impressively! I admire your talent and it's fantastic that you now collect your works in your own gallery. Yes, maybe this way also interested buyers will appear - "curators" are already present...
I like "Melting Bitcoin" the best, not only because I also like Dali very much.
And the symbolism in "Tron-light" is great! Maybe you will create a similar picture where the sails of the steem are much stronger in the wind and appear extremely proud and resistant...
Ach, alles in allem einfach klasse!
Christiane
Dear Chrsitine, thank you for your nice feedback, I was myself surprise to see how many paintings I have collected, actually in the past I spent much more time but during last couple of years due to being involved in different type of curations it was obviously not enough time.
Like you I like "melting Bitcoin" maybe because it is based on Dali#s work.
Stef
Just love your art and great that you put together the art you have created with cryptocurrency.
I will definitely be there when you auction some of your works.
Hope that there will be some of your beautiful sailing ships in that auction, you know I love the old sailing ships.
I would think that if you do that, that auction will probably be with crypto currency :)
I am glad you have had a chance to see the collection, that was some time ago and it was a good reminder for me too to see what was going on around on Steemit.
I have thought that you would be interested in auction too and of course I remember that you love old Sailing ships, there might be a surprise from us in regards to that :)
If I must say, you're really utilizing your holidays well, and you've done some much for these crypto communities with your artistic skill, and I really do love you choice of colours. Keep rising!
Hi @tezzmax, agree with you, I love holiday and love summer, unfortunately holidays tend to finish very quickly while doing something it seems like the times goes slightly slower and also I was hoping to get more practice here :)
Yeah. That's nice, Goodluck.
Oh ma gosh! Where was I when you were share the works?🤔
Incredible pieces of works denoting each Crypto and its impact.
I really love that painting of a sexy lady under the shield of dash.
Hi Max, yes, I think most of the time our roads crossed, of course it is understandable that we miss one of another posts as well as some contests like in the past. I really miss old Steem platform with all the people on one chain and not divided :)
#Resteem
Excellent work. Your art encouraged me to art think out of box.
Thank you for nice words :)
Most welcome i would like to invite you on my blog.
excellent work my friend, I like its colors and shades, creativity is infinite greetings and success
Thank you @betzaelcorvo for visiting my post and for your nice feedback :)
