DECEPTION CASE: Mass Photo FRAUD user @lie.photo
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
We are back with another Fraud case, the user @lie.photo, who actually already called himself a liar.
But let’s start from beginning:
The user created his acocunt in 2019 and while posting that time you know that we had a great group of @steemcleaners, who were checking many users for plagiarism and if it was the case they immediately put a label: FRAUD.
- So this user had such label:
@steemcurator01 and the Steemit Team, we all have to find Plagiarism and Mass Visual Art Fraud together.
We have to show that this platform will not tolerate Deception. If you agree with me please show you reaction. We are daily checking the “world of Xpilar” for Fraud cases. But Steemit is huge and it is physically not possible to stop Deception on Steemit if only few people randomly fight and will have no support!
Normally after having done a mistake, we give people a second chance and it was the case with him when we „world of xpilar“ trial and @art-venture have given him support for posts about 9 month ago.
But as it is people like to get Reward and have nothing special that they can present, such personality who lied once will obviously try again and here we are 9 days ago he started to post again but seeing a lot of good quality posts that are rewarded by our Community and @booming account he started to present the Focus staking photography of other very well know people who have their own Instagram and Website.
FRAUD cases: Stollen Images:
This is his last post he posted in “World of Xpilar” community and that is the time when we became cautious. There are three photos and every single is stolen. First, this is a complex processed work and he means just went and shoot.
Here he mentioned Focus stacking, but obviously he has no idea how to use this technique, therefore, there is no setting of camera and processing the images:
The next post has this little insect. The user this time flipped image from left to right
to make it difficult to find.
Here how the original author presents his work:
More than 2K likes and he has no problems to communicate and answer the questions.
Such users, of course, will be blacklisted and banned from our community
Nice work @stef1
It is sad that people are thieves. Yes, I don't call it plagiarism. This is a common household theft and such a person is a thief. Someone else's property is someone else's property!
Agree with you, it is theft. It is a bad side of internet people can't be caught and face others at the time of stealing, that is it is easy for such people to commit it.
On the other hand, there is the practice of blacklisting. Once you get there, you will not be completely white in the future. There are, of course, those who don't care about the future. You shouldn't even feel sorry for such users.
There are, of course, occasional mistakes, when someone was simply inattentive and forgot to post a link to the author. This is understandable. But when a person commits a deliberate theft ... he needs to be punished
Me alegra que puedan detectar este tipo de cosas. Un saludo
Thank you for your point of view :)
Well spotted, its always frustrating to see people claim other peoples hard work as their own. Its selfish and greedy and really shows a lack of respect for the original creator.
Thank you Dave. It is true, such moments make me angry. But the worst thing is when you find your own posts that is copied and pasted and someone else is presenting it like his own.We also had such case with our posts int eh past that is horrible feeling or anger and helplessness. That time @steemcleaners were people who sorted that out.
The pity peoples like that have learned the wrong things, he is actually smart. He just doesn't want to take pains and hard work.
Thanks for your share @stef1!
Internet makes it easy to steal without punishing that is tempting for such people like this user.
Good job @stef1
It's amazing how everywhere we can get people who want to do everything wrong. This is a clear example.
Thank you for supportive words and sharing your opinion :)
What a labor @stef1, good teamwork!
@stef1 you are doing a great work really it very bad for someone stealing other's work and pretend as if you are the original creator, @xpilar always frawned at such attitude after warning; if you see someone work which I look as great I should harder too In order to mine great too not to thief other efforts.
Good you fishout that, others who were also into such attitude will learnt their lessons.
Regards,
@davidad
Muchos saludos. Excelente trabajo están haciendo para detectar el fraude en esta plataforma. Es triste como caen tan bajo algunas personas. Los felicito
Well done @stef1 So sad to see people robbing other artists of their hours of work and preparation.
Thank you Diana for visiting this post, agree it is sad and frustrating. Hope this user will not do that anymore.
Certainly hope that user will change, Steff.
