Let's Celebrate the Arts

My Steemian friends know that I always say that when it comes to art and drawing, I stood last in line when this talent was handed out. What I have learned over the years is that we are all different. We are all unique. Life would have been pretty boring if it was only a kaleidoscope of drawings. We are invited through this contest to show our “unique vision of the world through art.” For me, there is only one way to comply with the contest, and that is through photography.

Matheena, my only princess is a "kikay" girl. She loves to own things she thinks unique and cute. While playing with her cousin, she saw her cousin wearing a gloves made by her mama. So, Matheena run to me and requested that she also wanted to have that.
Rugrats Are Getting a New Game

The Rugrats were a popular cartoon for Nickelodeon that began airing in mid to late 1991 (!) and ended around that same time in 2004. Talk about longevity for a cartoon. The episodes told the adventures of toddlers in diapers facing various challenges in their day to day lives (heavy use of imagination was involved). Oddly enough, Rugrats Adventures in Gameland, via Limited Run Games, will be the first time the franchise is available for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
Traveling with me to Malta

Sooo..., another trip and another adventure. I had the opportunity to go to Malta with my family and to fly on a plane for the first time! Before departure I was very excited because I always wondered what it was like to be on a plane. There were small turbulences, but all in all, it wasn't terrible at all.

In Indonesia, slapstick comedy stands out as its own form of entertainment, especially for the lower middle class. The reason, of course, is because this type of comedy entertains in light and quirky ways. Scenes of stumbling, falling, misspeaking, and even fake quarrels are all part of the appeal. Back in the 2010s, shows like this were heavily aired on national television channels, especially during Ramadan to entertain the public. Lately, I'm not sure if this kind of comedy still exists or not, considering I haven't been in touch with television for over 5 years.
