Fantastic Budapest. Hey travel with me!

I don't know where to start... Every part of Budapest is beautiful in its own way. I like it so much that words cannot describe it. My sister goes to school there, so I'm lucky. I can go there often.

Parlament

~ I am enchanted by this beautiful building. Every time I come to Budapest, I make sure to come to the Parlament because it is one of the most beautiful parts of the city. So if you ever go to Budapest, be sure to visit the Parlament because I'm sure you'll like it as much as I do.
~ This Parlament is a recognizable landmark not only of Budapest, but also of Hungary. It is a popular tourist spot and I believe that whoever came here must have visited this beautiful place. Also, this Parlament is currently the largest building in Hungary. It may not look good in the pictures, but you can imagine how big that building is in real life.

~ I wouldn't want to bore you with how this Parlament was created, because there is a lot to write about it, but you can find somewhere the story about it and who built it.

Parlament at night

~ I think this place is even more beautiful at night. You can only imagine now how much I love to go there when I visit it both day and night. These beautiful lights that illuminate every part of Parlament are beautiful. It makes the place much more attractive and special. When I come there at night, I feel like I'm in a fairy tale. I'm curious about how it is inside, I haven't had a chance to go.
~ Who likes to take photos like I do, this is the right place for him. Especially at night. Just look at the pictures how perfect everything is!

Elizabeth of Bavaria - SISI

~ This is Elizabeth of Bavaria. She is known by the nickname Sisi. She was a princess from the house of Wittelsbach, so after marrying Emperor Franz Joseph I, she became Empress of Austria. She has always had special feelings for Hungarians. She even knew how to speak Hungarian fluently. She was known for her beauty. Everyone admired her. She was quick-witted, kind and dressed beautifully.
~ To be honest, I don't know much about her, my mom told me this so I wanted to share a story that I heard and that I liked. :)

Chain bridge

~ There is so much to write about Budapest that I don't even know what to write anymore. This is the most popular bridge connecting Buda and Pest. I don't know if you knew, but that Budapest is divided into two sides, that is, as I said, Buda and Pest.

~ I don't know if you can see these lion sculptures on the bridge, I didn't remember to take a close up picture of them, but I hope you can see them roughly. Mostly, the people mocked those lions because they supposedly have no tongue. Actually, that's not true. It turned out that the lions have a tongue, but you can't see it clearly because they are lying on 3-meter stone blocks. The sculptor who made them was so embarrassed because the people mocked him, that in the end he jumped into the Danube...

~ Certainly the bridge, like the Parlament, is much more beautiful at night than during the day because of the light. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures during the day, so I can't show you the difference.

Shoes on the Danube Bank

~ On the banks of the Danube, there are 60 pairs of shoes. They are scattered everywhere, as if they just left them like that. This story is very tragic and sad. They represent a memorial and a monument to the Hungarian Jews who were shot on the banks of the Danube in the winter of 1944-1945 by members of the Arrow Cross Party.
~ Shooting Jews in the Danube was convenient because the river would carry away the bodies. The killers asked their victims to take off their shoes before shooting them. Shoes, after all, were a valuable commodity during World War II. Assassins could use them or trade them on the black market.
~I like to talk about history and learn other people's culture. For me, this story about shoes made a strong impression. For more details about this story, you can find somewhere and read everything that interests you. Believe me, you will not regret when you read everything, because the story is very interesting.~
