Sow The Right Actions To Reap The Right Results
The results that anyone see in the present are products of the actions that have been performed in the past. When a farmer goes to his farm with some seeds and then plants them, after he had put in the farm practices, like watering, manuring, etc, when the time for the harvest comes, the fruits that he will harvest will be of the order of the seeds that he had planted. For example, if he had planted plantain, when the harvest period comes, he will not harvest banana, even though they look alike, but he will harvest plantain. This same thing happens when you take actions in life, the result will be modelled after the actions themselves.
More often than not, what people wish or even pray about can simply be solved by undertaking the right actions at the right time. For instance, there is no amount of wishing and prayer you do that will become a substitute for studying your books if you want to pass your exams. If you will observe the principles and rules of life, you will be surprised how easy life will become. Obviously, it is rule and principle, when followed to the later, that will simplify life. In life, one of the simply rules that govern almost every aspect of it is:
You reap what you sow.
The above also relates to the actions you sow. Sometimes, taking the right and required actions may not be convenient and you may not even feel like it, but because of necessity and because of the sake of your future and what you want to achieve as result, you will still have to take the actions nonetheless. It is by going through the pain of taking the right actions that you will effectively stop the pain of regret later in life. In life, it is either you pay the price today, even if it may be difficult, and get the prize tomorrow, or you play today (by not taking the right actions) and then pay tomorrow. Make the choice.
You may not have been presented with the perfect condition that you had desired, but it does not mean that you should not do the right thing. Not only doing the right thing but there is also a requirement for you to do it rightly. When you plant a seed on a rocky ground, even though you have performed an action and the seed is very potent, but because it is not planted rightly, it will not produce as expected. So even though you are taking the right actions, do it rightly. More so, you have to put time into consideration - that is, take the actions promptly and on time.
When you know the right thing to do and delay to do it, it may render it invalid or the potential result may not be as expected. The reason why blacksmiths strike the metal that they want to forge when it is still red-hot is because they want to get the best result. In the same way, the right action that will deliver maximally has to be done at the right time. Imagine leaving your books until the night before examination before you start reading, you will not get a good result, because even though the action is right, it is not timely.
It is worthy to note that how you take actions in the present is a major determinant of how your future will look like. This is just the same way that the actions that you undertook in the past affected, in no small way, the results of the present. You will be surprised that there are things that will easily come to you simply by taking right actions at the right time. More so, you have to also learn to observe the requirements of patience.
The truth is that no farmer can hope to plant and harvest his seeds the same day, there is still a time to wait for it to mature. In the same way, from the time you put in the right actions into the pursuit of your dream to time they mature and the time you begin to see the results, you need to put in patience. It is when patience meets the right actions that the desired results are birthed.
