SNFT, a Playful Experiment
Low Resolution of My First SNFT (Steemit Non-fungible Token) 2021. Oil on paper, or is it?
Here is my first SNFT, pronounced “sniffed” as in “does it stink?”.
Yes, like oil paint at the moment. But you can have it in 41.1 MB of scentless digital individuality for, hmmm... let’s say, 20 Steem dollars.
In the comments section, just be the first to tell me you sent the Steem to my account. Unfortunately, then I think you’ll have to follow me on Instagram (@3_pounds_of_flax) in order to privately message a place where you would like the high resolution SNFT to be transferred. I promise never to share the digital SNFT once it is let go, and you can do with it whatever you wish—resell it to some other fool in Tom Sawyer’s gang, or print it on a billboard.
Let’s give it a go. A Ron Throop SNFT just for you. Oh yeah, and the other SNFT I tack up in my studio. Yours you can see any time you want—and mine I can see, touch, taste, hear (if I scratch at it), and of course, sniff for a fast high.
The NFT phenomenon has got my brain tied up in knots. I wrote about it recently and shared on Steemit. I don’t think a single pair of eyes has seen my previous NFT on rarible.com, where those crafty prospectors took my money and gave me a colander to pan for crypto in a mud puddle.
I rather play on #steemit, where the people are friendly:)

I'm sorry I can't keep up with all your posts, but I'll try do my best; they are always interesting, but you have competition elsewhere: I'm somehow addicted to some youtube channels and it's all too much in the end. :-)
You’re right. Keeping up can be a drag. I told you winter is a problem at this latitude. 10°F warmer and I’d be digging in the dirt, not searching for words and relevancy online. What else is there to do in the gray? Paint, eat, blog. Thanks for even taking a look. I’d rather be in the pines helping the carob trees breathe:)
Contrast. This morning I met a friend 2 minutes down the road from home and... you're already at the beach. It was hot, we were walking in t-shirts. The sun was strong, no wind. After a while walking by the coast we thought we might take a bath in the sea, but we met another friend and sat in the sun in front of the sea and chatted for a very long time. I had to keep moving out of the sun, so hot it was. Then, some dolphins came close and started chasing fish up and down inside the bay.
That's what I mean with not easy to keep up!
That is a problem I could stomach unto death.
Today I ate a bowl of cereal, painted in oils, cooked a dinner, and felt like I gained 7 pounds. Or are they kilograms where people are happier?
I prefer your setbacks!
The friends I have, thankfully, and they stop by. We drink a pint or two, and put on the weight.

The NFT craze is like tulips in Amsterdam, circa 1630s. It’s all tongue and cheek I do not expect to sell a digital link to what I have tack to the wall.

In other words speculative bubble, I really like your analogy. How the story of Nfts will continue is one of the things I'm curious about. We'll play a waiting game.
