Relocating a Studio Part I: Update Website, Show off Steemit

I have shown love for Steemit by replacing the Facebook icon on my website with my favorite social media link. Yesterday I spent a few hours updating the cyber-look of a hair-shirt optimist who paints. This year I intend to eke out a living hawking the painting and writing results of my frontal lobe carnival thinking after more than 20 Throop revolutions around the sun. Beginning this month, I will relocate my studio to the big(ger) city, which will involve much tweaking to the “take it or leave it” business atmosphere I function in at present. That means daily pick axe mining into the nucleus accumbens, to stimulate the lowest base of my desires—turning art tricks for business success.
I have an account journal for when the IRS comes to audit, and $630.18 in my PayPal account to start up operations. I shall receive the key from my new landlord, supposedly before February 1—after the facilities workers are finished refurbishing the room—replacing nicotine stained ceiling tiles, painting the walls semi-gloss white, and adding a hot water line (must keep the brushes clean!).
I’ll have 900 square feet to share with a couple other painters whom I choose, and an adjacent 1,200 square foot gallery to exhibit. Word of mouth will be necessary for 600 bucks doesn’t go very far in Businessland. The big question is this: Not knowing a single artist in Rochester, how am I going to find some people to share a room with me?

I need to make $300 a month for the studio to continue, $700 to be proud, and $900 to insure another year of staying in the black.

Please visit the website, so I can check my analytics and go, “Wow, Steemit is a super-classy step up high into the clouds over Zuckerberg Pout Mountain.

Also, (and I need to plug here for that’s what the MBAs tell me to do), I am a working painter and writer, and promise to sell you stuff if you want stuff to be purchased. I’ll take fiat, Bitcoin or Ethereum for now, until New York State allows me to collect on Steem. I am too easy to work with, which provides you ample opportunity to take advantage of me. Don’t miss out. Get your Throop today!

Yeah, right! Lou reed, Tripitena’s Speech

Below is a look from the parking lot outside, a scene from the gallery I’ll operate next door, and the door to the studio, (no. 215 almost ready for business). No inside pictures at present. As soon as I get the key, though, you’re in!
