TAKING A GOOD PHOTO OF A PAINTING...in a weird studio space!
Dear Steemians,
my intention was to publish this post a day after I did the one about the creation of this painting but then suddenly life got so busy again that I didn´t get around to it.
When I finally finished painting this piece ...
...like i showed you in the past post https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@romanie/solpost-painting-process-2023
I then called up my dear photographer friend @xaviduran and asked him pleeeeease could I bring the painting to his studio to take a picture of it in good resolution before the new owner of the piece would take it home. We spoke for a while trying to find the right combination of two very busy agendas and we got to the conclusion we would meet at a place. This was not the normal place. I drove over to the house of a friend where Xavi Duran had his camera and trypod and we went into the open garage of our friends house and improvised a place to take the right pictures. Xavi had just got back from his morning cycling training with two other friends and got right into photographer mode before he went off to another job.
It was a funny situation and we decided to take some photos of this.
Beyond all the surroundings, the actual high resolution image came out wonderfully! Once again, a great professional @xaviduran!
Thank you mate!
Best wishes to you all from Ibiza I hope you enjoyed this little adventure we went though to get it done quick!

Fancy location! Why not? The contrast to your pictures is all the sharper. Fits well, I think. Exactly, like an industrial look or something really morbid - a cemetery? - would be perfect as a backdrop...
ahahah! Thank you! I will look into that idea, you might be on to something there! hahaha! Thanks!

Hello @romanie
First of all thank you very much for taking me into account to leave a graphic record of your works. It is gratifying.
Secondly, thank you for your mention in this post and the positive assessment of my work.
Regarding the operational part of the work, you explained it very well. To take the photographs we met at an intermediate point between your studio and mine, which are about 20 km apart. That point is in the country house of a mutual friend, which is not very suitable for taking pictures, so we had to look for a place where the natural light was filtered, so as not to create unwanted leftovers or excessive contrasts, and the ideal place was a small open warehouse that was full of junk, so the working environment in this case was not the most aesthetic, but the most practical because the light that reached the frame was ideal.
Finally, I would like to say that the transaction for my services has been made in one of the tokens of this platform, specifically in Trone.

it was fun and worked well! saludos!!!!
What a wonderful picture! I wanted to write this to you in a comment to your previous post, but time got away from me somewhere. First, a cool idea, you managed to convey everything that was needed in one picture. Second, it is a wonderful landscape and your unique style.
It's a pity to say goodbye to such a work.
@xaviduran as always at his best :)
Many thanks @o1eh for your kind words about my work.
Thank you so much for your appreciation. Yes it was sad to say goodbye to it but I have since then had so much going on that I didn´t have time to look back! I will be posting more about the next art stuff soon! Yes, Xavi is great! :-)
What an absolutely fantastic piece of art!!!! There is so much in it which draws you in to keep looking. It has a wonderfully positive energy about it too!

Beautiful artwork.
The camera looks almost as old as my smartphone, but I still use it to take photos of my art.
thank you!
