Dragons - Ran Art Blog
This drawing is from imagination.
I rendered it with graphite pencils.
It is part of my guide for drawing from imagination, which focuses on how to draw the basic shapes in perspective.
I started with composition drawing and I rendered it realistically, which is my favorite drawing style.
Here you can find more on how to draw realistically.
Next, I added the background with soft edges.
Finally, I made sure the front parts of the dragons have the strongest contrast (I used atmospheric perspective).
Here is another example of drawing from imagination:
After the structure is to my liking, I render from top to bottom and from left to right (I am right-handed) so not to smudge what I have already drawn.
It is always good to practice realistic texture drawing.

Hi @ranartblog awesome, the way you can create different textures is excellent, I really like drawing but I'm still at beginner level heh heh heh, I have some way to go to get there. The details are very good, all the pictures are very realistic.
Greetings!😉
Thank you very much for the kind words :)
