Paper for Drawing - Ran Art BlogsteemCreated with Sketch.

in WORLD OF XPILAR4 months ago

My latest drawing, part of a new update to my drawing paper review and guide.

This paper, by Clairefontaine is quite grainy, and therefore less idle for my type of drawing, which is realism.
It is good though, for quick sketches, because it grabs the graphite particles.

On the opposite side, it is smoother, and I am about to check that next.

Here is a reminder of other tests I have done for drawing paper.

For many artists, this drawing is a finished work, not a sketch :)
Apparently, old acacia trees along roads can be seen anywhere in the world... or are they olive trees?

Thank you. I think acacia trees can be found in many places. Maybe different versions, though.
I am not sure which tree you refer too, there are several.

I'm always impressed by your work @ranartblog.
