Today I will tell you a little about my trip to the foot of the Rhodope Mountains, which is located in Bulgaria, my native country, small but with a rich history. This is one of our largest mountains and stretches east and north and south. With this beautiful monastery, also called the Bachkovo Monastery, I will allow myself to participate in the wonderful competition on the topic of Architectural Photography:

This paradise is located in the heart of the Rhodopes, which is called by children and adults is also called the MOUNTAIN WITH SOUL
This mountain has an energy that charges you as soon as you step into its forests. Here I lived 10 km east of this monastery. The city of Plovdiv where I grew up. This is an old ancient city famous for its hills which number 5. Large towering mountains above the city untouched by human hands. I used to come here often as a child and spend my free time in the quiet forests of the Rhodope Mountains. I no longer live in Plovdiv and I'm not even close to the monastery, but whenever I can I find time to remember my childhood memories.
The people here grow their own food. They have lands and animals that they take care of every day by investing their energy to grow well. They respect other creatures and give freedom to the animals here to walk around the monastery, emphasizing that these were goats and roosters and hens. Animals with which you can live in peace because there are no contradictions on both sides. When I was little and I came here, they gave me an example of how to grow a plant, how to water it and how to treat a creature with love and attention. Whether it is a plant or an animal. They taught me that every single thing in the infinite universe has a meaning to exist. It contributes either by purifying the air or by feeding your children. We must respect those who are weak and help them. I learned what it's like to be noble. And thank you for that.
Around the monastery there are many natural landmarks that I visited and secluded. Somehow, as a child, I loved being alone in nature, maybe with a goat for company ha ha
It's just that nature is that amazing force that makes me write and create in such a magical way. To dream of conquering mountains. And this monastery taught me to believe in myself. In the universe and in what I do alone. We all have an individual potential gift with which we can change the world. As long as we love our darkest side and then we can find the love that lies in the depths of our hearts. To give ourselves the freedom to spread the wings of faith and conquer mountains. I was a wild child who believed in miracles. To this day, they continue to happen to me. Should I watch the flight of a bird floating in the wind and soaring freely. This freedom must be possessed by my soul in order to be complete for the world. And to feel at home wherever you go because home is not a place but a feeling.
This is the monastery where I spent my childhood and I hope you enjoyed the story of what true happiness is. To have the humility to respect the little things of you, whether it is a flower or a small bird. Every being has its value and we must value it by respecting this and ourselves. To love ourselves by giving ourselves such places filled with spiritual power and natural magic. Walking in these places satisfies me so much that it awakens my dearest senses and I start creating art from the heart. The freedom I feel when I am in nature to relax and release any negative energy. To exchange it with the energy of love.
