TARNETAR TEMPLE AND FAIR NEAR MY CITY
The Tarnetar Temple near my hometown of Surendranagar is a magnificent little temple. One will travel with family or friends and may have a Darshan Trinetreshwar temple owned by the Hindu Deity Lord Shiva. It is located on the Rajkot Ahmedabad Highway.
This is the famous Shiv Temple near the village of Tangadh in the Saurashtra region of the State of Gujarat in India. Nearby Railway Station Than & By Road - The site is approximately 30 km from Ahmedabad - Rajkot Highway (From Chotila)
A beautiful temple to visit with family. The surroundings were peaceful. Great place for a little hiking. The Temple of Trineteshwar was the oldest and most famous temple.
Every year during the monsoon season, this year's largest festival is held here and is very popular throughout Gujarat. Trinetrashwar or Tarnetar as the temple is known locally, is the most important temple in the region.
Tarnetar's annual show draws large crowds. Tent accommodation is planned at this time. Beautiful scenery around the temple. Here we feel we have a new mind. The show is open for three days. Here I have visited many times. The show is to attract tourists from all over the world.
The show is primarily a ‘wedding’ or ‘Swayamvar’ for the youth of the modern tribe who visited Tarnetar, to find them the right bride.
The youth of the nation dressed in splendid colorful dresses, jackets, and eye-catching hats will be chosen by the local bears in their splendor.
As the most important national exhibition, it is attended by tribes from the united areas of Koli, Bharwad, Rabari, Khant, Kanbi, Kathi, and Charan who indulge in dance, competitive sports and other such forms of entertainment. There are more than 300 stalls selling food, beverages, fairs, and cattle shows.

Tarnetar falk fair held every year in around September month which is supported by Department of Tourism, Govt. Of Gujarat Gujarat.
During 3 days fair, on 3rd day people baths in the kund to praise the god Shiva.
Thousands of people gathers in this fair to enjoy art and culture of Gujarat, India.
India has a great heritage of fairs and festivals through out a year.
Tarnetar fair has been declare as a cultural heritage fair by Indian Government.
