Waterfall in long exposure or.....
Hello my dear Steemians,
This is the new account “Planetwild” by @stef1 and @myskye. This account is about collecting Steem for the PlanetWild project. That's why I'm going to post once a day. Everything we get together here (Steem, SBD, SP) goes to the project. Then let's see what we can do here...
I have a few photos from a little walk in our park here in Kirkcaldy. In this park there is a small stream and many strange looking trees.
I used my Olympus OM-D 1, as well as the Olympus 12-100mm 1:4 IS PRO lens.
What do you like more, the waterfall in long exposure time or the normal exposure.
The Olympus camera has one of the best optical image stabilization systems on the market, so that you can take most of the pictures without a tripod.
The Olympus OM-D cameras feature in-body image stabilization systems that work together with compatible lenses equipped with optical image stabilization. This dual system provides enhanced stabilization for both still photography and video recording, resulting in smoother shots and reduced camera shake. The combination of in-body and lens stabilization can deliver superior image quality in a wide range of shooting conditions.
Beautiful shots @stef1 & @myskye!
It is a lot of fun to play around with camera settings when shooting scenes involving water... looks like it's a really good camera, too, based on the outcome.
Yes, I am very satisfied with the camera. Many people say the camera would only have 20 megapixel of resolution, and that would be too little. I can't say that, ...just because of a 30 or 50 megapixel resolution the pictures are not automatically better.
Amazing....Amazing....Amazing :) Thanks for sharing it :) Cheers :)
Greetings 🖖 and thank you very much for your comment🙂
A long shutter speed works wonders with running water and you managed to show us this miracle :) Great photographs!
Waterfalls always have something magical. 🏞️ 🙂
I like your main picture. The running water is like silver hair. How did you shoot it?
I used a Olympus OM-D E-M1, and the Olympus 12-100mm 1:4 IS PRO lens.
👉Exposure time: 1.6 sec👈, without tripod ,
ISO 800, Focal length: 88mm , aperture: f/14 🖖
Picturesque places. (And you have strong hands that don't shake)))
Oh yes, I have strong hands and arms💪, but the camera system makes it a lot easier for me.😆😉
This is awesome capture..i really like the tree shape..Amazing series of Photos..well done
Thanks for your comment🙂
