Its coloration is similar to Chrysochroa fulminans (metallic green with golden shading), but the back of its body is like a mosquito: slight. I thought this animal was a fly because of the big eyes and head posture. The main reason why I use The Metallic Green Knight cause its color is green and its metallic and of course cause I love Dev Patel's picture in The Green Knight :)

I have tried searching the internet for information and found some results which unfortunately have no scientific reference. Some call it a green fly, some say this animal is a green mosquito based on the news they had previously received.

The limited vocabulary I have about insects makes me difficult to trace (I believe this is an insect from the kingdom diptera because it has two wings, in example: flies). Anyway, is it possible that this animal is the result of crossbreeding between Chrysochroa fulminans and a fly, or Chrysochroa fulminans with a mosquito that coincidentally succeeded? The answer is... Maybe I have to change the question start another chapter of the tresure- only if I finish this post :)

It happened yesterday (01/02/2022) when I had photographed some tiny flowers for a macro photography project in my yard, this green insect landed on my left arm. I suddenly stopped the flower portrait session by realizing the presence.

In order to be able to take a photo of it, all I did was make very little movement to keep him from flying. It takes a great deal and effort to photograph an animal that moves swiftly on an inanimate medium, but it is more difficult to photograph an animal that moves swiftly on a living medium: the human body needs to move so that the muscles don't stiffen. And I knew I couldn't get it anymore once it left me.

All the photos in here are taken with my Smartohone camer. a: Redmi Note 9 S with the addition of an external macro lens from Miniso with a small lens resolution cause this is all I have at the moment (support me to have Lensbong soon and produce other interesting macro works, Folks!).
