When I caught a mole earlier, I thought it'd be good to do a science experiment and see how quickly it could bury itself into the soil. Apparently, with some softer soil, they can almost sink into the earth they're so quick! It was amazing to see, and with just a 10 or 11 second long escape time, these animals are incredibly impressive.
