AHH - MAMA Caught a RATTLESNAKE - Episode 9
Do not try this at home.
Recently, while I was gone at work, some of the Little-Peppers found a Pygmy Rattlesnake on our homestead. Being educated in snake identification, they immediately knew that it was venomous and contacted Mama-Pepper. With the snake tongs being gone with me in the van, she improvised and used a long stick to prod the serpent into a bucket to detain it. This way I am able to relocate it to a remote, uninhabited area.
Once we get that out of the way in this episode, it's on to more homesteading life. Enjoy the show, educate yourself, and stay safe out there!

Oddly enough there are rattle snakes clear up on my parents property. My grandpa saw one there in the 70s and my parents found one living down by the mailbox a couple years ago. I haven't actually seen one.
