This sculpture is really impressive. But it causes mixed feelings. Ruins always cause feelings of sadness. And if it is the ruins of human happiness, it becomes even sadder.
This sculpture will definitely remind people of the value of their relationship, of the need to cherish what they have.
I hope that one day you will make a sculpture about the birth of love. Not just a couple of people in love, but about the moment when love is born. About those first happiest moments. It will become a place of declarations of love, a place of acquaintance, a place of meetings.
Your talent enlivens breathless things, and that's great.
Thank you for the comment. I have made a few more sculptures in this series even about getting together. Love is never that easy at any stage of a relationship, from getting together to falling apart it is never simple, for me at least.
The idea for a sculpture about the love at first sight is something I have tried with https://steemit.com/hive-156509/@ammonite/love-is-blind-are-you-ice-sculpture. It was from ice, and of course, it was not simple but about a gay love at first sight in a very conservative country.
Ice sculptures look special. Transparent material gives them purity. And the refraction of light gives them a fairy tale.
You have started a wonderful series of works. I will be interested to see your next works someday.
Thank you for sharing them here, because in reality only a certain number of people can see them, and here millions of people can admire your works.
