Application for Steem Representative
Hi @steemitblog! I recently applied to be a curator, and today I'm applying to be a Steem Representative. Perhaps it is a little strange, but I believe that these two duties can be combined. If not, I prefer to be a Steem Representative (if I meet the criteria). I was convinced by your words:
We are also very much looking for new people to come forward to become Steem Representatives.
I am interested in contributing to the development of such a large community as Steem and the duties of a Steem Representative will discipline my work in this direction.
Regarding compliance with the criteria:
- I have been active on the platform for the past year and a half.
- My own SP is 25,232.14.
- My reputation is 74.311.
- My CSI is 5.5 ( 0.00 % self, 84 upvotes, 37 accounts, last 7d ). Sometimes it reaches 10.
Applicants should also be generally active in the wider community through curation, commenting, organising contests, or other activities.
I write in three communities: Ukraine on Steem, WORLD OF XPILAR and Popular STEM. But I read posts from different communities. I would note the Deutsch Unplugged community, where there are always interesting posts and comments.

I'm sure that the role of representative would be ideal for you, but there is one condition that probably does not suit you:
Not all Steemit Inc initiatives are to your liking, I guess.
That's right. But that shouldn't be the problem, because with constructive cooperation, you can definitely disagree from time to time.
There are other, personal aspects, which is why I definitely won't be applying. In addition, I don't want to be one of those weekly reporters whose nicknames you don't like to see any more at some point.
In summary, just say that I am very familiar with the structures of the Steem and the support (and detection...) of users, act and help to the best of my knowledge and belief, but I'm just not active enough anymore. I am fully occupied with my community (thanks for the positive mention), because even in this tiny group there are always clumsy inconsistencies. And reading all the interesting posts is also extremely important and time-consuming... ;-)
I support the Steem and its development as good as I can, but it is and remains only a hobby for me. I never wanted to earn money with blogging (of course I'm happy about rewards like everyone...) and I won't accept guaranteed votes... ;-)

This decision was not simple and spontaneous for me either. What stopped me the most was that I could be drafted into the army at any moment. Then I will not be able to fulfill my duties. But on the other hand, many people stop fulfilling their duties due to various circumstances. It's life.
I hope that the position of Representative will allow me to do more for the development of the entire community. But I could be wrong. I won't know if I don't try.

That is very good step from your side to apply for this role, I like that you are not concentrating on one place and you are all over on Steemit. The communities and the role of country representatives had indeed narrowed the activities of users who remained within their communities. There are many interesting people who we sometimes discover by accidents.

I hope to see your application for Representative. You have been on the platform for a long time, you are constantly active with extensive experience as a curator and author. An ideal candidate. It would be great if you also submitted your candidacy. You are a talented author and can give very good advice on how to improve your posts. And it would be good if there were more representatives from economically developed countries. You would not be burdened with the need to earn as much as possible, which frees up your hands to work calmly on the platform. Also, it is quite possible that you would be the only representative from Germany.
