Greetings all, I'm here to participate in the Contest Digital Art Week#31, organized in World of Xpilar community.

The animation is named "Her". How swiftly death severs the bonds with those we deeply cherish—just a matter of time, and everything turns to ash.

It was night, nearly 9 or 10 PM, darkness enveloping everything. Our whole family was gathered in the living room. My mother was laying on the bed, and I sat to her left, leaning against the wall. With one hand, I immersed her arm, while my other hand held hers.

It was midnight, and we were in an ambulance returning from the hospital. I sat there with my aunt and uncle, my mother's lifeless body lying in front of me. My head resting by her stretcher-side, and my hand gently cupping hers.

Merely two hours separated these two memories, yet those hours shattered my entire existence. One second she was there, alive with me, and the next, she was gone.

I loved my maas' hands, and comparing them with mine was my favorite thing to do. Little did I know that night would be the last time I held them. So, on the second day after her passing, this memory flooded my thoughts, and I couldn't resist. I took a reference picture holding my sister's hand and drew it.

I'm unsure how long i took to create it, but after i was done, I realized that I wouldn't be able to show it to Mama. And I wouldn't be able to see the proud look on her face she used to give after seeing my silly drawings. For the first time in my life, after creating something, I didn't felt excited because I knew my mother wasn't there to see it anymore.
