#Club100 - Karaca Cave and Torul View Terrace
Hello dear Steemians;
Today, I will tell you about Karaca Cave and Torul View Terrace, one of Turkey's natural beauties. When we went to visit Karaca Cave, which is in a neighboring province with the one I live in, we first visited Torul Glass Terrace on the road. Afterward, we arrived at our main destination, the Karaca Cave.
Torul View Terrace is located in Torul district of Gümüşhane province. You can reach the location of this terrace from the link. With a height of 240 meters, it is one of the highest terraces in Turkey. It was a scary feeling for me as it was quite high. But still, it felt great to watch the view from here.
After taking our souvenir photo here, we set out for our second stop, Karaca Cave.
After leaving Torul, we reached Karaca Cave, which is about 17 km away. Karaca Cave, on the other hand, was a natural wonder. Karaca Cave, a karst cave, was discovered in 1990 by a geological engineer. In 1996, it was opened to tourism.
This cave is at an altitude of 1500 km from the sea, and there are many different formations such as various stalactites, travertines, and stalactites in the cave. The ceiling height of the cave reaches 18 meters and there is a distance of 105 meters from the entrance point to the end point.
After we finished our tour in the cave, we had a wonderful homemade pancake at one of the cafes nearby. If you happen to come here, I definitely recommend you to taste these pancakes.
