❄️ 'Tis the Season 🎅

Hello one and all.

Since it's the Holiday Season and a lot of fellow Steemians are posting about their Christmas décor, I also wanted to share with you how Christmas decorating is done in my home town. I know is a pretty small town and we don't have many decorations but it's enough to bring the Holiday Spirit in our hearts.

Ever since I can remember, there has been a tradition in family that the Christmas tree and other holiday decorations are to be displayed after Saint Nicholas, which we celebrate on December the 6th. So, last weekend, between my virtual farming rounds and with the whole family home we got to work. Let me show you the final result of this years Christmas tree, and also a gif with the dancing lights.

Also, that same Saturday, the Christmas lights in the city got turned on. Unfortunately, for the last couple of years only the town's center and a couple other places are dressed in lights.

The most 'famous' part is near city hall, which has the most amount of lights. There is also the country's flag lit on the building. Right next to it, we also have a Nativity of Jesus display, with the plastic animals and Adoration of the Shepherds.

On the opposite side, it's a small representation of Santa's Sleigh pulled by a reindeer. Behind it, you can see the famous Nako Castle, the former residence of the Nako family.

In the end, I will leave a small gallery with the remaining pictures I took. This was the display of lights from my city, hopefully you enjoyed it and thank you for stopping by. And for those who start their holidays early, I'm wishing you Happy Holidays!

Over here (England), you'd probably have to pay to go somewhere and view lights like that (not your Christmas tree, we get lots of them - but the outdoor ones).

Keep up with the high effort content - it's refreshing to see somebody new like you join the platform. I'm pleased that @ady-was-here persuaded you to sign up.

I'm also glad he managed to convince me. It's nice to put your mind and creativity at work.

That's what attracted me to start wtih. I was spending all of my time looking after our children that I felt my brain stopped working and this made for a nice outlet.
