My Dorayaki Mushroom | Contest Macro Photography | Steem - Steemit - Tron | Week 16 | (PowerUp 100%)

Hello Friends,

This is the series post of mushrooms in my backyard, I call it a Dorayaki Mushroom because of the color and round shape just like Dorayaki, the favorite food of Doraemon (Japanese cartoon) :) Yes, I am very lucky to find some of these mushrooms. Thank you to @sultan-aceh who managed and organized this great Weekly Contest of Macro Photography and allowed participants to submit their contribution every day. These pictures below will be my entry for the contest.

The real name of the mushroom is Pholiota, with the color of the cap is light brown and yellow, sticks to and lives on rotten wood. Commonly, these mushrooms live in groups of species and are poisonous. Pholiota is a genus of small to medium-sized, fleshy mushrooms in the family Strophariaceae. They are saprobes that typically live on wood. The genus has a widespread distribution, especially in temperate regions, and contains about 150 species source.

Looking at the source above, stated that lots of species distribute in some of the areas if I look at the pictures each mushroom of Pholiota has a different size and shape but the colors are the same which is light brown and yellow. Hopefully, this short information about this mushroom is useful.

As usual, I am using my smartphone with a macro lens to captures these mushrooms, with a simple setting that is available in every smartphone and natural lights.
