This time I want to participate again in the 13th macro photography contest held by Mod WORLD OF XPILAR @sultan-aceh and supported directly by @xpilar.

Today I want to post a photo of an insect that I found in the forests of Aceh, Indonesia. The name of this insect is the Polyrhachis dives.

Polyrhachis dives are black ants that are very easy to find in the forest. Ants These are a species that are widespread throughout the region and these ants are synonymous with unique nests.

Where these ants build characteristic cardboard structures on the lower branches of grass, trees and shrubs, they join the leaves and twigs with larva silk to form nests.
