Museum of Barquisimeto
Located in the center of the city, the Museum of Barquisimeto is housed in an old neoclassical mansion, built between the late 19th and early 20th centuries by the German architect Justo Rosenberg to house the former Charity Hospital.
This public health institution operated there until the mid 50's, when it was moved to the "Antonio María Pineda" Central Hospital, built to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the city, which at that time had several hundred thousand inhabitants.
The museum opened its doors in 1982, after the building had been abandoned for some decades, and since then it has become a tourist attraction and a point of reference of the artistic work of the region.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original images to my satisfaction.

Ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, el Museo de Barquisimeto funciona en una antigua casona de estilo neoclásico, construida entre finales del Siglo XIX y principios del Siglo XX por el arquitecto alemán Justo Rosenberg, para albergar el antiguo Hospital de la Caridad.
Esta institución de salud pública funcionó en esa sede hasta mediados de la década de los 50, cuando fue trasladada hasta el Hospital Central "Antonio María Pineda, construido para celebrar el cuatricentenario de la ciudad, que en ese entonces, contaba con algunos centenares de miles de habitantes.
El museo abrió sus puertas en 1982, luego de que la edificación permaneciera abandonada por algunas décadas, y desde ese momento se ha convertido en un atractivo turístico y un punto de referencia del quehacer artístico de la región.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
