Hoy me desperté más temprano que otros días; más o menos a las 9:30 AM ya estaba activo. Desperté con ganas de aprender muchísimo más sobre Lightroom y poner ese conocimiento en práctica. Ya que me gusta el trabajo de varios fotógrafos que tienen un estilo “moody dark” decidí empezar a aprender por ese camino. Este tutorial explicaba cómo hacerlo.
I woke up earlier today than on other days; at about 9:30 AM I was already active. I woke up wanting to learn a lot more about Lightroom and put that knowledge into practice. Since I like the work of several photographers who have a "moody dark" style, I decided to start learning that way. This tutorial explained how to do it.
Mientras veía el tutorial fui probando y, -a pesar de no hacer exactamente lo mismo- logré un resultado similar. No hice lo mismo porque las fotos eran distintas pero el video me sirvió de guía, con mi criterio fui haciéndolo lo más parecido posible. Este fue el resultado:
As I watched the tutorial I tried it out and - despite not doing exactly the same thing - I achieved a similar result. I didn't do the same because the photos were different but the video served as a guide, with my criteria I was doing it as close as possible. This was the result:
Luego, me dedique a hacer ejercicio, el día de hoy tocaba hombros y espalda, me tocó muy duro, pero se logró. Poco a poco voy subiendo más el nivel, no tomé fotos -lo había olvidado- pero otro día muestro parte de ese entrenamiento.
Al terminar los ejercicios, me bañé y comí. Estos días he estado muy metido en todo lo referente a Logic, me parece un ejemplo de una carrera exitosa y sana dentro de la industria musical. Empecé el día escuchando su música y ahora –mientras comía- me puse a ver otra parte de la entrevista que estuve viendo ayer. Me gustó mucho esta parte porque explicaba la razón de su retiro, habló sobre la sensación de nunca ser suficiente a pesar de estar logrando el éxito y la realización que fue darse cuenta que ya había logrado suficiente y era momento de disfrutar y descansar. También, conversó sobre la influencia de las redes sociales en su día a día y como en un momento se desconectó de ellas, ya que era más lo negativo que lo positivo y la verdad, a mí me ha pasado. Me he llegado a desconectar y he llegado a ser más productivo, he tenido mayores resultados y me he sentido mejor sin tanta negatividad. Es mucho mejor solo conectarse para compartir lo que uno quiere compartir y alejarse de cualquier problema o polémica innecesaria.
Then I worked out, today was shoulder and back day, it was hard, but I did it. Little by little I’m raising the level, I didn't take pictures - I had forgotten - but another day I’ll show part of that training.
When I finished the exercises, I took a bath and ate. These days I've been very involved in everything related to Logic, it seems to me an example of a successful and healthy career within the music industry. I started the day listening to his music and now - while I was eating - I watched another part of the interview I was watching yesterday. I really liked this part because it explained the reason for his retirement, he talked about the feeling of never being enough despite being successful and the realization that he had already achieved enough and it was time to enjoy and rest. Also, he talked about the influence of social networks in his day to day life and how at one point he disconnected from them, since it was more the negative than the positive and the truth, it happened to me. I have become more productive, I have had more results and I have felt better without so much negativity. It's much better to just connect to share what you want to share and get away from any unnecessary problems or polemics.
Unas horas después me dedique a mis clases de canto de todos los días, cada día me acostumbro más a los ejercicios vocales y se va haciendo más sencillo.
Terminé las clases de canto y me dediqué a aprender de un ingeniero de mezcla que ha trabajado con Cardi B, en esta clase explicaba cómo había mezclado un tema de ella llamado “Money”. Muy interesante el orden que utiliza y algunos datos curiosos sobre su estilo de trabajo. Luego de eso tocó hacer el diario y listo, a dormir.
A few hours later, I started my daily singing classes, every day I get more used to the vocal exercises and it is getting easier.
I finished the singing lessons and I dedicated myself to learn from a mixing engineer who has worked with Cardi B. In the class he explained how he had mixed a song of hers called "Money". Very interesting the order he uses and some curious facts about his working style. After that, it was time to make the diary and that was it, to sleep.

Si! fue un cambio algo drástico pero me sirvió para aprender. Esa entrevista es muy buena te la pasaré. Tranquila, así como tu me ayudas a descubrir a otros músicos ahora es mi turno jeje.
