Mountain Ranges of Mountain Province for @axeman's photography contest
These are the mountain ranges as seen from Barlig particularly the border of Chupac and Kadaclan. We were there for the big statue of a Philippine Eagle. Barlig is known for its lush forests, maybe the last of its kinds here in the northern part of the country that's why it is called the last frontier.
I haven't seen so much greenery and forested area. For a 360-view, it's all forest around you. Because of that, there are lots of waterfalls to visit. There is also a hot spring and a lake and clean cool rivers to explore. I hope we can visit more next time.
Here's another photo.
During our recent visit, there were more roads being constructed. While this is good so that more remote places can be accessed, mountains are sacrificed for the sake of human development.
I hope that I get to explore more of Barlig before it's too late.
This is my entry to @axeman's The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #135.
