Me parece que todas las publicaciones aquí hechas por ustedes son increíbles y estoy muy emocionada porque este es mi primer post dentro de la comunidad, me encantaría poder formar parte también y compartir maravillosas fotos con ustedes.
I think all the posts made here by all of you are amazing and i am so excited because this is my first post inside the community; i'd love to be part too and share amazing photos with you.
Hoy quiero compartir el “Salto Aponwao” (también conocido como “Chinak – Merú”), ubicado en mi país, Venezuela.
Today i want to share the “Aponwao Jump” (also known as “Chinak – Merú”), located at my country, Venezuela.
Es una maravillosa caída de agua de unos 108 metros de altura que se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Canaima – Venezuela.
This is a wonderful waterfall about 108 meters high found in the Canaima National Park.
Tuve la oportunidad de visitar este lugar y la sensación es realmente increíble. A pesar de ser una cascada de tanta altitud, es posible acceder, aunque el camino no es corto ni fácil.
I had the opportunity to visit this place and the feeling is really amazing. Despite to be a waterfall of such altitude, it is possible to access, although the road isn't short and easy.
Al llegar al lugar se puede apreciar la cascada desde lo alto para luego comenzar un pequeño recorrido descendente, subir a un pequeño barco (llamado “curiara”) que es guiado por nativos del lugar a través del río Aponwao.
Upon reaching the place it can see the waterfall from the top and then start a small rout downward journey and then get on a little boat (called “curiara”) that is guided by natives of the place across the Aponwao River.
Al bajar del barco, comienza otro recorrido a pie cuesta abajo a través de una vegetación de selva, incluso hay que atravesar un pase de río sobre unas piedras.
When getting of the boat, another downhill walking tour begins through a jungle vegetation, it even have to cross a river pass on foot on some stones.
En el camino se encuentran un par de pozos donde se puede dar un descanso para continuar el camino y finalmente llegar a un sendero plano de vegetación de sabana, donde se debe caminar un poco más hasta que se logra observar el salto Aponwao a lo lejos.
On the way there are a couple of Wells where you can take a break to continue the journey and and finally reach a flat path of savanna vegetation, where you have to walk a little more until you can see the Aponwao Jump in the distance.
Es posible acercarse bastante pero no todos lo logran porque la presión de la caída del agua es muy fuerte. Llegar a ese punto es realmente refrescante porque se puede sentir las gotas de agua salpicando, además de ser una vista única y hermosa.
It is possible to get quite close but not everyone can because the pressure of the falling water is very strong. Getting to that point is really refreshing because you can feel the drops of water splashing, besides being a unique and beautiful sight.
Es una larga caminata que puede ser un tanto riesgosa si no se anda con personas que conozcan el camino y sus riesgos. Aun así, por más agotadora que sea, vale la pena conocer esta maravilla.
It’s a long walk that can be a bit risky if you don't go with people who know the way and its risks. Still, as exhausting as it may be, this wonder is worth knowing.
