Oxalis triangularis | Close-ups session.
Greetings friends of WOX, today I share with you a special composition that portrays a plant that is attributed with good fortune accompanied by bright drops of water.
The 5 selected close-ups
Photo N° 1
This is the "Oxalis triangularis", an ornamental and also edible plant. As it has leaves in trios, it is also known as purple clover and love clover due to the association of the purple and purple color of its leaves. |
Photo N° 2
It is also known as the butterfly plant, cupid plant, love plant, and lucky clover. In many places, it is believed to have mystical properties of attracting good luck. |
Photo N° 3
Photographically, when combined with water drops, they provide a highly contrasting background where the drop stands out, acquiring prominence. |
Photo N° 4
The drops look like small diamonds that disperse the light in their thousands of facets, increasing the beauty of both the clover and the clover leaves. |
Photo N° 5
I worked outdoors, capturing several shots from different positions, then editing with Lightroom to highlight colors and contrasts. |
