Drawing is not an activity that is easy, although they say it is, it really requires a lot of practice, skill, patience and good observation skills, at least that's what I think. I like drawing very much, although for different reasons I can't dedicate so much time to it. That's why I organized myself to be able to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge WOX, S10 W2: Drawings Hands.

But, drawing hands as well as faces is really quite difficult, at least to make it look like a real hand for me is a bit complex, however, I wanted to challenge myself to participate in this challenge.

The good thing about drawing is that you don't need so many things to be able to do it, at least not in the way I do it, which is not professional. But for the realization of this drawing I used the following:

• Graphite pencil type: HB, 68 and 8B.
• Eraser.
• Letter size white sheets.
• A photo of my hand, which I took with my cell phone.

_Materials

I made a couple of gif to show the step by step, I preferred not to saturate the post with images, but I did it in an organized way, trying to visualize the step by step.

First I drew with soft strokes the edges, with the intention of giving the shape, then I started to mark a little stronger, to define the shape.

Once I had the contours, the general shape, I went to the details, first the nails, little by little marking the folds, some shadows to give some depth and light.

It took me a few hours to get it done, but I enjoyed the process, the end result was as follows:
