Drawing like a pro - 87, Drawing a hallway - one-point perspective

Hi friends!

In this exercise, I will show you how to draw a hallway under the staircase drawn in the previous lesson.
We will draw it with an arch at the top, so the first step is to draw a rectangle under the steps of the staircase as shown below (I've highlighted it with a red circle).
Using the method of diagonals explained in this lesson: we find the vertical centre of the rectangle which will allow us to draw the semicircle we need.

Drawing a semicircle on top of the rectangle we get the arch of the corridor.

The next step is to draw the same gate on the back wall of the staircase.
To obtain the same height but in perspective, we will draw the vanishing lines to the VP (vanishing point).
We'll draw the door using the same previous process.

Here, highlighted in red, I've drawn you the cuboid that we need to draw to obtain the hallway. Note the small portion of the rear gate that is finally visible.

Here the corridor is isolated to give you a better idea of how is drawn.

All the helplines were erased here to show you the final result of this exercise.

Here you can see the drawing with all the helplines traced to achieve this perspective.

With an arch, the drawing looks more interesting. Which element will be next? :)
