Drawing like a pro - 107, - A few words about Composition - (#club100)
Hi friends!
Composition is a bit of an abstract thing, a bit difficult to consciously put into practice but as we become more involved with visual arts like photography, drawing, painting, design, etc., we end up using this very well unconsciously.
However, it is important to take care of this aspect if we want to make our drawing more than just a sketch, if we want to make our drawing a work of art.
Think that the composition is the arrangement or placement of visual elements on a surface, that means: where you place the elements of your drawing on the surface (drawing paper, for example). How you choose to place those elements in your final piece is the "composition".
Composition can make your visual art eye-catching, dynamic, or calm, relaxing, etc.
Try to be aware of this aspect of visual art, take a look at different works of art and see how the composition affects the mood.*
Very used and successful is this central composition in floral arrangements.
But if we extend some branches and leaves to the corners, we get another, more dynamic layout. This diagonal arrangement is also widely used and very successful in floral arrangements.
This is another sample of a diagonal composition.
A triangular composition is also very nice and dynamic to the representation of botanical elements.
See how this inverted triangle composition brings movement and balance to the floral arrangement.
Also widely used in floral arrangements, drawn or painted, is the frontal, vertical symmetrical composition.
I wish you a very nice day and good exercise!
Well, our friend @arcoiris is back with his magnificent watercolour lessons.

Composition... this is what I sometimes lack in my photography.
We need to study more ... :)
Hi Bambuka, you have a great sense of composition, I don't see any lack of it.

Thank you, Jorge. It happens that the sense of composition does not deceive me, but there is another thing :)
There is always something to learn from more experienced people.
Thanks, friend!
We are all here to learn from each other.
