I have to scrape off my solar panels in the winter and I use a very long pole with a stiff squeegee attached. On the opposite side of the squeegee is a brush as wide as the squeegee.
Usually have to do it several times to get the snow or frost thin enough to melt after the solar panels get enough light to heat up. Then it melts all the snow and ice
It's smart, I hope there won't be so much snow in the winter
Yes, there is always hope! I thought of covering the panels with a tarp then removing the tarp after the snow stopped but that didn't work
